Chapter 10
Six Months Later . . .
Trace watched Calla move around the bookstore seemingly unaware of his gaze. Conversation swirled around him between his brothers, but his attention was all for Calla. He groaned inwardly when he watched her bend over to pick up a fallen book. He would have loved to grab her and pull her into the storage room for some "cataloging". He had been helping her around ‘Calla’s Books and Nooks’ whenever he had the time. Most of his ‘helping’ ended with him inside her and she crying out his name in ecstasy.
Smack. "OW!" Trace cried out looking at Kaos, who smiled at him knowingly.
"Stop that. We need to discuss the letter and you’re fantasizing about your girlfriend. We need your head here in the now, not the future! Got it?" Trace nodded begrudgingly. He took one last look over at Calla and focused all his attention on his brothers.
Roar was multitasking, reading the latest erotica book from one of his favorite authors and sipping a cookies and cream milkshake that he had gotten from the adjoining café.
"Hey, Romance boy, you here with us?" quipped Kaos.
Roar rolled his eyes and took a sip of his milkshake. "Yeah, I can read, drink and listen at the same time."
Kaos wasn’t sure if he should reach over and smack his brother in the head or just leave him be.
Trace took care of that.
"OW!" Roar cried out. "Full attention please. If I can’t drool over Calla, you can’t drool over your new book." Roar sighed. He slipped a bookmark into his book and gave them his full undivided attention.
"I haven’t talked to Ti-Bell but I assume she got one too. So, what do we do?"
A few weeks ago they each had received a letter from their grandmother all saying the same thing. She wished to speak to them. The exile for them was lifted but for their father it was still in place. Kaos was the only one to know the real reason why they were exiled and he had promised his father not to say anything unless he had too.
Roar shifted in his seat. He was the only one who couldn’t remember the old country. "I don’t know. I mean I’d love to see Russia, but see Babushka, I’m not sure."
Roar shook his head and Trace nodded. Kaos mulled over whether or not to tell his brothers about Vasili.
"I would also love to see Russia. I don’t remember it. I’d love to show Calla the old country, but
I really don’t want to introduce the woman I love to the woman who hated us enough to abandon us." Trace said bitterly.
Kaos shifted in his seat. Out of all the brothers he was the only one who had had a chance to know their grandmother for a short time. She was a kind and loving woman from what he could remember, but there were a few things she could not tolerate. What their father had done had been one of them.
"K what do you think. I’ll go see her if you will." Roar said.
Kaos smiled gently. He could see his brother was scared of the thought of going alone to Russia.
"I still haven’t decided plus I’ve got the tour. She did give us a year long window to see her. What do you think T? You want to see Russia, if we go?"
Trace looked torn, but slowly nodded. "But only if Calla can come with us." Kaos grinned. His brother was really in love. Kaos glanced over at Calla and smiled when she looked over at them. She nodded her head and he nodded back. "But of course brother wouldn’t think of leaving her out. Did you tell her about the letter?"
Trace nodded and both Roar and Kaos weren’t surprised. In the past Trace had been closed off, but ever since he had found Calla he started to smile and laugh more, which was such a turn around from the loner who took everything so seriously. Trace’s smiles and laughs were always thought to be in the past. Now they came easily.
Kaos’ cell phone rang, he looked down and saw who was calling and shook his head. "I’ve got to take this. I’ll be right back."
He rose from his chair and walked over to Calla. "Hey, Cal, can I use your office?"
She didn’t even ask the reason. She just nodded and walked over to help a customer.
Kaos walked into her office and smiled. It was so cozy, a set of overstuffed chairs with golden orange fabric and small gold stars were grouped around a small coffee table. Her large writing desk was made of walnut, with many drawers. Her laptop sat on her desk, open and ready for her to use. A large executive chair sat behind the desk in deep red fabric. The colors of her office reflected autumn, one of Kaos’ favorite times of year.
Kaos sighed and dropped down in her executive desk. A large picture of her and Trace sat on her desk with a scattering of a few photos of her friends, as well as ones featuring Trace, Roar and Kaos. Only one picture of her family sat dust covered on her desk.
From what Trace had told them, Calla wasn’t close to her family, she considered her best friends Nora and Martie the only family she needed. Well, Kaos thought, she’s got us now for family as well.
He flipped open his phone and dialed the number of the last incoming call. "Vasya, what’s up?"
A deep chuckle came over the phone. "So will they see Babushka?" He asked.
Kaos smiled, it was weird hearing Vasili’s English accent, when all of the family retained some remnants of a Russian accent. "They are mulling it over, and frankly I am too. What does she want?"
He could practically see Vasili shrug. "She just decided one day that she wanted to see you."
Kaos sighed. "She didn’t say anything else?"
Vasili sighed. "She didn’t discuss this with me or anyone else in the family, she just announced that she wanted to see her exiled grandchildren and that was it. Ti-Bell is also mulling it over."
Kaos’ eyes widened. "You spoke to her? Did you tell her who you were?"
Vasili laughed. "No, I’ll let Grandmother tell the rest of the family. Look I have to go. I’ll see you at the concert in a few months okay?"
Kaos smiled. "Okay, see you then."
Kaos hung up and rose from the chair. He glanced down at the laptop and stared. The window open on the desktop said, babynames.com. Kaos grinned, if she was pregnant, that would be wonderful.
Calla chose that time to walk into the office; she stopped when she saw him looking down at her laptop. Before he said anything she said, "It’s not for me. It’s for Talia."
He studied her face and saw she was telling the truth. "Trace wants to wait to have kids."
Kaos must have looked surprised because Calla chuckled. "Yes, we talk about everything."
Kaos smiled and walked over to Calla and placed a kiss on her cheek. "I’ll be a proud uncle when that day comes around."
He walked back to his brothers and held back a laugh when he saw Trace’s expression. "We were discussing Talia." Trace nodded and went back to speaking to Roar who was almost done with his milkshake. Soon everyone parted ways, leaving Trace at the bookstore with Calla, alone.
He watched her lock the door and smiled. "Ready to catalogue?" She asked as she turned around, a mischievous look was in her eyes. Trace nodded and held out his hand. She walked to him and took it. He led her to her office. The desk was clear of everything, even her lamp. Trace smiled, she’d been waiting for this.
As soon as the door was closed he pulled her to him, his hand slipped into her hair, grabbing a handful he pulled her head back. Her lips parted and he slipped his tongue into her mouth. The other hand slid down her back and rested at the base, pushing her closer to him. He ground his erection against her as she responded.
Her own hand slipped into his hair, grabbing handfuls of his and pressing him closer, her other hand slipped down his back to his buttocks, squeezing one cheek. He groaned and pulled away. "You take the lead." Trace whispered. Calla smiled, "Sit down in the chair." She said pointing to the executive chair behind her desk.
He obeyed her eagerly awaiting what would come next. Once he sat down she opened up a drawer and pulled out an orange silk tie. He didn’t protest as she tied it around his head, obscuring his vision. She also tied his hands to the chair to keep him from touching her. She made slow work of his shirt, leaving it on, just pushing the shirt open to expose his chest. Later he would be fully undressed, but for now he would remain somewhat clothed.
She undid the button of his jeans and pulled down the zipper, pulling the jeans down, she could see his erection already dripping precum. He was ready for her. She lifted up her skirt, pulled off her panties and shoved them in her handbag. Calla leaned forward and kissed him. His head lifted off the back of the chair meeting her lips. She gave him soft teasing kisses, before trailing her lips down his neck, chest and abs. She slid down to her knees and laid a gentle kiss on his cock. He ground down and then his hips lifted.
"Please, suck me." Trace groaned. Calla just smiled. She wrapped her hand around his base and took just the head of his cock in her mouth. She kissed, licked and nibbled him. His hips tried to thrust forward, but with each attempted thrust, she would pull back. He groaned her name and called her a tease.
Calla laughed and pulled away. "Does a tease intend to follow through? She maneuvered herself onto the chair and straddled him. She took him in her hand and positioned him at her entrance, Trace thrust upward and she moaned and threw her head back and rode him.
She cried out his name as she came and he soon followed. She slumped forward and trailed kisses from his neck to his lips. "Come on, untie me and let’s go back to your place." She did as he requested, as soon as his hands were free, he ripped off the blindfold. Smiling, Trace’s eyes darkened with passion. "When we get home it will be your turn." Calla leaned forward, kissed Trace and rose from his lap. "I know." They quickly cleaned up, locked up the bookstore and headed home.
